Summer Street Stroll
The Great Bend Farmer's Market is every Thursday during growing season at Jack Kilby Square (on the SE lawn of the Barton County Courthouse). The Farmer's Market makes healthier, locally-grown food easier to access for everyone. Special events like City Band Concerts, Movies in the Park and more are held at the historic bandshell along with the market on Thursday evenings.
Our vendors bring a large selection of items, including fruits, vegetables, honey, arts, homemade crafts and more.
New vendors welcome! If you grow or make handmade items, we welcome your participation. Our space is FREE, just complete the below application (in the resource section of this page) & submit it to Barton County Health Department. Training opportunities are available and vendors can join any time during the market season.
Every Third Thursday of the Month food trucks come and serve delicious at our Summer Street Stroll Farmers Market.
The trucks set up on the south side. Check out our Facebook page to see who is coming.
